"It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership." - Nelson Mandela
If you’ve stumbled upon this post, its my hope that you’re on your laptop in bed or drinking your morning coffee while you research inspiration for your own engagement shoot. Long time sweethearts - Alpha & Dil’s engagement session radiates a perfect blend of warmth and a casual “autumn in the city” vibe. What better time to shoot in some of Torontonian’s favourite gemstone locations as the season transitions into fall. Here’s a few of my favourite shots during our session. Enjoy!
Loved how the landscapes looked during the snowfall in Algonquin.

Tristan & Jason’s Barnyard Wedding
Tristan & Jason is the kind of couple every wedding photographer hopes to have. Fun, outgoing, daring and not shy to show their affection for each other. From the very first moment Jason laid his eyes on his bride-to-be for their “first look”, to Tristan walking down the aisle, and their first dance - Tristan & Jason’s love is apparent in every single photo. Meeting their families really was a testament of their admirable love for each other and for others. Enjoy this touching wedding. Big love to Tristan & Jason - you guys are amazing! Mylene & Miguel on Style me Pretty Canada!

MYLENE & MIGUEL Engagement Shoot | Toronto Center Island
Looking at these photos is like cutting through warm butter (for me at least!). The magic light was so perfect and it certainly wasn’t hard to photograph these two lovebirds, Mylene & Miguel. Mylene’s enthusiasm and Miguel’s relaxed personality really made my job way too easy. I enjoyed collaborating their ideas riding bicycles, and a romantic picnic to set the tone of this perfect summer inspired engagement shoot. Mylene’s Tiffany yellow stone diamond engagement ring went so well with the details of this shoot. I look forward to shooting on Toronto Center Island again - there were so many hidden gem locations that I would love to revisit. Enjoy the images and let me know your thoughts below!
